TravelSkies support
How can we help?
Find answers about forecasts, route results, permissions, and saved trips. TravelSkies is still in development, so beta feedback is welcome.
Common questions
About the app
Is TravelSkies a navigation app?
No. TravelSkies helps you inspect weather along a planned route. Use Apple Maps, Google Maps, or another navigation app for turn-by-turn directions, traffic instructions, and rerouting.
How current is the weather?
Route results show when their weather was updated and how many checkpoints were covered. Live, partial, cached, stale, and unavailable results are labeled separately so older data is not presented as current.
Why does TravelSkies request location access?
Location access lets you use Current Location as the start of a route. You can always enter a start manually, and a denied or unavailable location is never replaced with an unrelated city.
Can I view a saved route offline?
You can open the last successful saved snapshot when one is available. Offline snapshots are dated and cannot create fresh weather recommendations or alerts.
Does TravelSkies require an account?
No. Saved routes, preferences, and route-result snapshots are stored on your device. Read the Privacy Policy for details about Apple services and optional weather imagery providers.
Where is the app available?
TravelSkies is currently in development for iPhone. App Store availability, supported regions, and the final device requirements will be published when the release build is approved.
