By downloading or using TravelSkies (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
TravelSkies provides weather and route estimates to help you plan travel. Weather forecasts, routing, and arrival times are estimates and can be inaccurate or change. Always use your own judgment, follow the law, and never rely solely on the App for safety-critical decisions. Do not interact with the App while driving.
Weather data is provided by Apple Weather, and routing and maps are provided by Apple Maps. Optional recent radar imagery may be provided by RainViewer, and optional cloud imagery may be provided by OpenWeather. External map launch can use Apple Maps or Google Maps at your direction. TravelSkies does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, coverage, or availability of third-party data or services.
Risk labels, departure comparisons, local notifications, widgets, and Live Activities are planning aids derived from forecasts and estimated route times. They are not emergency alerts, navigation instructions, road-closure notices, or guarantees of safe conditions. Live Activities use planned timing and do not continuously track your vehicle or automatically reroute you.
You are responsible for checking official weather warnings, road conditions, closures, and instructions from local authorities. Do not operate the App while driving. Use a passenger or stop safely before interacting with it.
The App can store preferences, saved routes, and bounded offline forecast snapshots on your device. You are responsible for managing this information through the App or by deleting the App. Location, notification, and Live Activity access are optional and controlled through iOS settings.
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in violation of any applicable regulations.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
